Prepare Your System For The Cold Months WITH A BLOWOUT
Sprinkler winterization is the process of preparing your in-ground sprinkler system for the cold winter months. The procedure is often called a “sprinkler blow-out” because we blow compressed air through all your sprinkler lines to purge residual water from the system. Sprinkler Blowouts are essential in Northern Colorado/Fort Collins to avoid costly repairs caused by freeze damage.
Here’s what’s included:
- Visual inspection of entire system
- Turn off water supply
- Manually drain water supply line
- Blow compressed air through entire system
- Clear water from Backflow ball valves

*LATE-SEASON PRICE/TERMS: We have service technicians on-call for late-season appointments through mid-November. Pre-payment is required for all late-season blowouts. We can not guarantee your blowout will be completed if the water has not been properly quick-drained from your backflow before we arrive. If your backflow preventer or exterior pipes are frozen upon arrival, it is very likely we will not be able to winterize. We do not offer any refunds under these circumstances so make sure your backflow preventer is drained and not frozen before scheduling. Please contact us with any questions before scheduling a late-season sprinkler blowout.
We offer a no-freeze damage guarantee that is conditional on us winterizing your system in the fall, before the first freeze, and performing your sprinkler start-up the following spring after the last freeze. If freeze-related damage is found in spring, that is not due to late winterizations, early start-ups, existing damage, lack of blowout port, inadequate drainage, or faulty components, we will repair damage at no cost to you.
